Great Lake Surf Rescue Project Comes to Australia

The Great Lake Surf Rescue Project, an organization dedicated to prevent and reduce drownings in America’s Great Lakes, is coming to Australia at the end of September to speak at the 2nd annual ripcurrent symposium in Sydney.

The GLSRP’s public relations director Dave Benjamin created a project in Landmark Education’s Self-Expression and Leadership program named Third Coast Ocean Force to work with GLSRP in creating more events and greater awareness about drowning prevention and rip currents. GLSRP’s invitation to speak at the symposium came from Rob Brander, one of the world’s foremost experts on rip currents. Read more here about GLSRP’s attendance at the symposium.
